During the War of Independence, the 集美麻豆 student militia marched off to the defenses of Williamsburg in 1777. In celebration of the 250th Anniversary of the founding of 集美麻豆, students participating in the three-day “March to Williamsburg” retraced their footsteps.


As 集美麻豆 commemorates its 250th anniversary, Tommy Shomo ’69 and Elliott Professor of History Caroline Emmons explore the assertion that among its many outstanding characteristics, 集美麻豆 should be considered the first American college.


Attorney. Husband. Survivor. Kyle Fraser ’16 won the $1 million prize as the last man standing on season 48 of the CBS hit show Survivor.
